Please note: The measurements requested for the estimate are NOT your regular store-bought garment sizes.


We are happy to answer your questions about the items that we create and sell - again, email is best for this purpose so that we can easily refer to your details when generating your price estimate and constructing your order. Price estimates are not available by phone due to the time involved to accurately generate this information based on current materials cost, etc.

Please Note: If you are calling from an "Unknown" number, your call will be blocked.  Due to an overwhelming number of spam telemarketers using unknown numbers, we have had to block all unknown callers.


The cost of telephone consultation lasting longer than 15 minutes will be added to your order.  This does not include time spent processing your payment by phone.  (We are usually able to answer all questions within five to ten minutes.)

About Us:


Andrea Wakely


As the costume designer of Twin Roses Designs, Andrea is involved in every aspect of the costume design and production process.  Andrea worked in the costume shop at the University of Virginia for two years and was involved in numerous productions as dresser, master painter/dyer, assistant costume designer, pattern drafter, stitcher, etc.  Andrea has degrees in Theater (costume design), Biology, and a Minor in Studio Art from UVA. 


Founded in 2000, Twin Roses Designs has since grown into the thriving business you see today.  Andrea's goals for the future are to continue to design and create costumes for professional productions in addition to producing high quality clothing for individual re-enactors and enthusiasts.



Garry Wakely


Another scientist/artist blend, Garry is our technical guru.  He specializes in digital translation of artwork into stitches for the embroidery machine, as well as being the in-house Dye Master, webmaster and photographer.   Garry received his BSc from the University of British Columbia in Occupational Therapy.
