This white 100% linen Elizabethan style shirt is based on historical references from the mid 1500's, and features machine embroidered blackwork at the collar and cuffs that we digitized from a historic reference. There is black couched cord defining and embellishing the edge of the pleated linen ruffles on the collar and cuffs. The collar and cuffs each tie with two black cords as in the reference material. Renaissance Doublets |

 Black Leather Elizabethan Doublet
|
This
Elizabethan style unlined black top grain leather doublet is based on a
historic leather
doublet from 1567. The cut of this doublet is more
historically
accurate than most of our other doublet styles. The original
included pocket flaps on both sides at the front, only one of which was
functional. Our version has two functional pockets for
lightweight items at the front, and two 'secret' pockets in the flap
itself. There are 10 hand cast 100% pewter (lead free)
faceted ball shaped buttons closing the front. The shape and
style of these buttons is
historically accurate. While we are not expert leatherworkers, we do occasionally make one of a kind pieces from leather and suede. These are unique pieces that will not be exactly repeated. We are not taking custom orders for leather goods. This renaissance style
men's doublet
is inspired by several historic portraits which feature black doublets
with cream colored sleeves. This doublet is made from
black 100% wool flannel that has been washed and dried by machine to
plump it up, creating a soft texture similar to polar fleece.
It is fully lined with lightweight black 100% linen.
Decorative braid edges the collar, front, sleeve caps, and
the extended lower portion. Thirteen faceted black ball
shaped glass-like buttons close the front - these are made of moulded
plastic and thus will not chip. The detachable sleeves
are made from textured cream 100% cotton matelasse, and are fully lined
with cream organic 100% cotton twill. This
doublet will fit up to the following
measurements: 21" neck, 44" chest, 38" natural waist
(around the belly button at the fullest point), 21.5" nape to hem, 7"
shoulder. The sleeves measure 23" from shoulder to

19th century style 100% cotton shirt with pleated front was
created for a
Western film project. This brand new, never used
shirt was a 'double' to an identical screen used shirt (shown
below). This earlier
Victorian style cream colored shirt features 5 vintage Mother of Pearl
buttons at the front, plus one on each cuff. The sleeves have
'dropped' shoulders, and the front of shoulder and back yoke
areas have two layers of fabric for added durability as was done in the
time period. It is difficult to see in this photo, but the
pleats on the front of the shirt have double stitching detail for added
interest. Perfect for your Victorian style clothing collection, or to add that authentic touch to your Steampunk outfit! This 19th century style 100% cotton shirt with pleated front was created for a Western film project. This earlier Victorian style cream colored shirt features 5 vintage Mother of Pearl buttons at the front, plus one on each cuff. The sleeves have 'dropped' shoulders, and the front of shoulder and back yoke areas have two layers of fabric for added durability as was done in the time period. There are residual stains from makeup and hat dye on the collar even though the shirt has been dry cleaned and laundered after the shoot. screen used trousers are based on a mid
to late 1800's style. Made from 100% cotton jalapeno bull
denim, these pants feature front pockets (including a smaller pocket on
the
left hand side to hold change or your pocket watch), a back waist tie
for some adjustment, a button fly and suspender buttons hidden inside
the waistband. Due to time constraints during construction
for
the shoot, none of the buttons on these trousers are vintage, and the
hidden suspender buttons inside the waistband are all the same size but
do not all match in color. There is no noticable wear on
these trousers. Suspenders not included, but are available for separate purchase in several styles HERE. Actual trousers measure 42" waist (this style is worn higher than modern trousers, so please measure around the belly button level to ensure a proper fit!), 32" inseam, 44.5" outseam. This
Victorian style 100% linen shirt was created for a
Western film project. The shirt was made from white
and blue
striped linen with a white bib front and cuffs, which were then tea
dyed to give a more authentic, aged look. The cuffs button
closed with vintage mother of pearl button 'cufflinks', and the shirt
front features the same buttons with a hidden clear snap at the collar.
The button at the neck band and at the back of the
neck held a detachable collar in place (included with this
shirt, shown in film still at left). The detachable collar has residual
makeup stains - see below paragraph. This screen used shirt is shown in the still photo at left- the identical but unused double is shown above. There are some residual makeup and stage blood stains even though the shirt has been dry cleaned and laundered after the shoot, particularly at the collar and cuff areas, but most have been completely removed. There is hardly any tea dyeing remaining on this shirt after the various detergents and bleaching agents were used to try and remove all stains. There does not appear to be any noticeable wear on this shirt. Perfect for your Victorian style clothing collection, or to add that authentic touch to your Steampunk outfit! 1800's style 100% linen shirt was created for a
Western film project. This brand new, never used
shirt was a 'double' to an identical screen used shirt. The
shirts were made from cream and tan
striped linen and feature gussets at the neck and armpit. The
shoulder area is lined with cream 100% cotton broadcloth. The
cuffs and center front button
closed with vintage mother of pearl buttons. Perfect for your Victorian style clothing collection, or to add that authentic touch to your Steampunk outfit! Actual shirt measures: 17" neck, 50" chest and waist, sleeve from wrist to shoulder (NOT including shoulder) is 25" on the left sleeve and 27" on the right sleeve, one shoulder approximately 7.5", length is 33" from neck to hem. mid
to late 1800's style sanded nutmeg 100% cotton twill trousers were
created for a
Western film project. These brand new, never used
trousers
were a 'double' to an identical screen used pair. The
trousers feature front pockets (including a smaller pocket on
the
left hand side to hold change or your pocket watch), a back waist tie
for some adjustment, a button fly and suspender buttons hidden inside
the waistband. Due to time constraints during construction
for
the shoot, none of the buttons on these trousers are vintage, and the
hidden suspender buttons inside the waistband are all the same size but
do not all match in color. Suspenders not included, but are available for separate purchase in several styles HERE. Perfect for your Victorian style clothing collection, or to add that authentic touch to your Steampunk outfit! Actual trousers measure 39" waist (this style is worn higher than modern trousers, so please measure around the belly button level to ensure a proper fit!), 32" inseam, 45.5" outseam. This vest is made from multicolored sturdy cotton material that has
been hand dyed to age the colors down on the outside and is fully lined
with sanded nutmeg 100% cotton twill. This waistcoat features
four working pockets at the
front, and buttons closed with a series of unique antiqued bronze tone
metal buttons with cutwork designs. This screen used piece
has been dry cleaned, but some of the stage blood stains are still
slightly visible on the right front between the two pockets. Perfect to add to your steampunk or western character's look. There is a back waist tie that allows for some adjustability for smaller sizes, but generally speaking, this modern Victorian waistcoat will fit up to a 48" chest and a 44" natural waist at the belly button line. short Western film project.
This vest is made from hand dyed navy blue 100% linen with matching
100% cotton broadcloth lining, giving the piece maximum breathability
and excellent texture. This waistcoat features four
working pockets at the
front, and buttons closed with a series of hand cast pewter dome shaped
buttons. This screen used piece was aged some to give it a
broken-in look, and has some repairs around the pockets from use.
It has been
dry cleaned. Perfect to add to your steampunk or western character's look. Jedi style cotton tunics, obis and tabards
are super easy to care for! Just toss in the wash on cold
with like colors and tumble dry low for best results. If you
would like something a bit dressier, we also have tunic sets available
in 100% silk noil below. Wear one tunic alone or layer it
with matching or contrasting colors for different characters and
effects. These tunic sets are intended to be generic in
nature -
for specific characters with particular details, please contact us for
a custom order. The tunics are designed to overlap in the front, and have no closures. The tunics will fit up to a 60 inch chest, each shoulder is about 8 inches wide, and the sleeves are 23 inches long. They can be cinched closed with your belt or we can custom make an obi from matching or contrasting material, with a velcro closure to fit your waist. Tabards can also be made for you out of a matching or contrasting material - see below to purchase the custom obi and/or custom tabard set. See individual descriptions for lengths (lengths are measured from nape to hem as front overlap will change depending on your waist measurement). **Leather belts, boots, pants and
