Today’s featured garment: a ready made tan striped brown wool melton Rev War style cloak. This historically designed cloak is based on records of a surviving garment from the 1770’s. Made from soft and comfortable tan striped chocolate brown melton wool, it is a cozy topper for your historical impression. Although this cloak is machine stitched, the hood is hand stitched to gather the back. This unlined cloak ties at the neck and features arm slits similar to the Revolutionary War era original. However, these replica arm slits are stitched over the edges to prevent fraying. This cape is 40 inches long from tie to front hem.
